Okuma Crown 769S L1420/1250 CNC Turning Center (2000)

The Crown series is Okuma's box-way slant-bed turning center for general shop work — a hardened box-way carriage on a slant bed with the OSP control and Okuma's own drives and encoders. This is the long-bed configuration: 49" between the chuck face and the tailstock, 3" bar through the spindle and a 12-station turret with a one-second index, so it covers shaft work, long chucked parts and bar work on one machine.

Type 769S, Serial No. 0294, built 07/2000. OSP-U10L control. 30 HP spindle, 65–3,500 RPM, A2-8 nose with 3.5" bore. 15" Kitagawa B-215 three-jaw hydraulic chuck. 12-station turret with static tooling — no live tooling or C axis. Programmable tailstock and automatic tool-setter arm fitted.

Condition: original Okuma paint, worn on the headstock casting inside the work zone; sheet metal and control in good cosmetic shape. Currently disconnected, shrink-wrapped on a pallet and stored indoors in a heated warehouse, so it is not under power. Inspection on site is welcome. Tooling and toolholders are not included in the sale.
